“We are never prepared for what we expect.”
~ James A. Michener
My friend Mary and I embarked on a 2-day road trip adventure through Utah and Colorado before attending The Children of the Light Conference. I had skied in Utah and Colorado when I was in my 30’s and 40’s, but I never saw how beautifully green it is. I fell in love with the mountains all over again! Of course, we had to stop in at a dispensary as soon as we entered Colorado. At that moment, we knew fun times were ahead!
I had a fantastic time in Park City, Salt Lake City and Colorado Springs. The Children of the Light Conference was about connecting to our angels. I thought about how I used to ask for assistance from Archangel Gabriel and Archangel Raphael when I began writing my book. I realized that I had gotten away from it. I decided to pull a card from my angel card deck this morning and it was Archangel Gabriel encouraging me to go forward in my writing career.
Writing and publishing a book has been an interesting journey for me. One of my biggest fears in life has been around money. I have had to let go of money each step of the way – from purchasing a publishing package; getting help to edit my book; and hiring a publicity firm in order to be featured on some radio talk shows.
I can get very overwhelmed thinking about possibilities, so I am doing my best to stay in the moment.
One day at a time.
Having just returned from the conference, my biggest takeaway is that we are Love. Love is where we came from and where we return to. Our greatest need is to love and receive love.
